Movember Fundraiser 2019
Each year, the Wozair Head Office in Gillingham collectively try and raise as much as we can for the Movember charity focusing on Men’s Health. This year, as well as growing our Taches’ we hosted various other activities in an attempt to raise even more money for this amazing cause.
A darts tournament took place throughout November with over half the staff on site competing from the workshop and offices. The final was played on 21st November and Trevor Wilkinson walked away with the trophy plus a holiday voucher worth £60.
On Wednesday 27th November we hosted a ‘Chilli Cook Off’ where contestants had their chilli recipe judged and offered as a lunch alternative to staff in return for a donation. The winner (congratulations Rob Leivers) received the generous gift from our neighbours, Roko Health Club, for a month’s family pass worth over £100.
As well as this, various ‘moustache’ confectionaries were made and sold for a donation to the Movember charity.
We would like to thank everyone involved at Wozair for their efforts which enabled us to beat our total last year, raising an incredible £677!
